CODE OF CONDUCT
Purpose
The Oxfordshire County Council (OCC) is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for collaboration.
The "100 Together: Financing Oxfordshire's Green Future" event is by invitation only, and this extends to the expected behaviour of our participants. All participants are required to conduct themselves appropriately and treat others with kindness and respect.
Expectations

Communicate with others openly with respect and kindness; value diversity in opinions.

Be mindful of your surroundings and others; be part of a positive experience for fellow participants.

Avoid any behaviour that is harassing, intimidating or demeaning; consider your language and understand differences in experiences and beliefs.

Follow guidance from the organisers and venue regulations, designed to keep all participants safe and well.

Respect others’ space and be mindful that other participants may be practising covid-19 safety measures.

Alert staff if you notice anyone in distress or in need of assistance.
Unacceptable Conduct

Any behaviour that is aggressive, intimidating, harassing or demeaning.

Discriminatory acts or derogatory language regarding ethnicity, race, national origin, political aliation, religion, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or physical appearance, or any other reason.

Verbal, physical or written abuse to any other participant.
Unacceptable Conduct
Examples of actions taken in response to a failure to comply with this Code of Conduct, include, but are not limited to:

The request for the perpetrator to immediately stop the behaviour being displayed.

Organisers taking a record of the unacceptable behaviour, in case need of escalation to appropriate authorities.

Removal of the perpetrator from the event.

Follow up action in the instance of authority escalation.
